Salvador Dali Museum / Figueres; Opening Days & Hours (2018); open everyday of the week, closed on days 01.01, 25.01, Mondays between 01.01-29.02, 01.03-31.05, 01.10-31.12 and during official holidays between October-May. For actual and definite opening hours and days please check afficial website here. The museum opens at 09:30 and close at 18:00 from 01.10 till end of June, opens at 09:00 till 20:00 from July till end of September. During August museum stays open from 22:00 till 01.00 am. You can enter 45 minutes before the closing hour lastly. Entrance Fee; 14 € in 2018 (including jewels section). Entrance fee for night visit is 15 €.
How To Go To Dali Museum / Figueres
Figueres is a small town of Catalonia where Salvador Dali was born and Salvador Dali Musuem (Teatre Museu Dali) is located. The distance between Barcelona and Figueres is 140 km’s by motorway. By Guided Tours
Joining in an organized guided tour is the best option since you may not find avaliability to enter the museum once you arrived and also you my not find ticket on the train to back to Barcelona. Additionally you will have a local guide explaining you the numerious complex and enigmatic piece of art of Dali. By Trains and Buses
Salvador Dali Museum is in the center of Figueres town where is located 140 km’s north of Barcelona. To go to Figueres by train or bus you have the following options;
By “RENFE” Trains
There are around 15-20 departures from Barcelona (Sants or Passeig de Gracia Stations) and the prices are around 15-19 € in one-way (2018), varies depending on the season and supply-demand. According the speed of the train and number of stations to stop, the duration of journey changes from 1 hour 50 minutes and 2 hours 15 minutes. After you get off in Figueres Train Station you will need to walk around 15 minutes up to the museum. It is recommended to buy your train ticket in return, since you may not find avaliability all the time, especially if it’s high season. The first train from Barcelona departs as early as in the morning like 06:00-07:00 am and the last trains from Figueres is around between 20:00-23:00 depending on the day and season. By Bus
The journey from Barcelona to Figueres by bus takes around three hours. There are some private coach companies running between Barcelona and Figueres. SAGALES is the most well known coach company running between Barcelona and Figueres. The buses depart from Barcelo Sants or Estacio del Nord in Barcelona. One way ticket for 2018 is around 20-25 € per person.
